MANUAL FINISH ADHESION TEST (PEELING)
Manual adhesion resistance is a test that is performed on footwear materials and garment leathers.
The test is very useful in the shoe factory for measuring the compatibility of shoe room dressings and of leather finishes.
An inadequate adhesion of the finishing of the materials to the upper could lead to the flaking or peeling of the shoes during production or their use.

This test can also be performed with the dynamometer (tensile tester machine), in case the finishing requires the application of a very high load. In this case the specific accessory according to IUF 470 / ISO 11644 is used.
