Elmendorf is used to test tearing resistance of cloths, imitation leather, plastic, paper, etc.
The range of use is between 0 and 64000 millenewtons.
The instrument must be endowed with an interchangeable pendulum:
– medium pendulum: 1,600 cN (1,600 g);
– heavy pendulum: 3,200 cN (3,200 g);
– extra-heavy pendulum: 6,400 cN (6,400 g).
