Abrasion Machine MARTINDALE TYPE

The Martindale abrasion tester is designed to test fabrics and leather against rub in a translational movement tracing a Lissajous figure.
The sample holder which contains either specimen or abrasive, depending on the method, is freely rotable around its axis perpendicular to the horizontal plane.
The sample is subjected to abrasive wear for a predetermined number of rubs. Test cycles will be interrupted at scheduled time intervals, to check the sample surface.

– Interchangeable normalized weights capable of exercising 9 and 12 Kpa  pressure.
