Automatic digital tear tester, suitable for testing specimens within a very wide tear range, like textiles, paper, leather, plastic,
non-woven and other materials<\/p>

The only ELMENDORF tear tester on the market able to automatically perform the following operations:<\/p>

  • Sample cut<\/li>
  • Release of the laceration pendulum<\/li>
  • Reading of the laceration value<\/li>
  • Blocking of the pendulum<\/li>
  • Reset of the pendulum into the starting position<\/li><\/ul>

    Suitable for all kinds of textiles, technical and protective fabrics, as well as for paper, cardboard, natural and artificial leather, plastic, nonwoven and other materials.<\/p>

    Model with a high laceration capacity, ranging from 1600 to 30.000 cN.<\/p>

    Pendulum complete with additional check weights, supplied as standard with the instrument.
    Equipped with alphanumeric keyboard and digital reader for the measurement of the laceration values that can be printed or transferred to a PC through a RS 232 serial port.<\/p>

    Instrument fully protected and complying with the strictest EU safety norms.<\/p>
