Device for determination of the shrinkage temperature of leather up to 100 °C according to UNI EN ISO 3380 and IUP/16 .  
It is applicable to all kind of leathers. A characteristic of leathers and hides is that if they are gradually heated in  water, they reach a temperature at which they are subject to sudden, irreversible shrinkage.
The higher the shrinkage temperature, the better the moisture heat resistance of the leather.
The leather shrinkage tester device is also available in automatic  version.
